Born in Brussels in 1972, Noé Sendas lives and works between Berlin and Madrid. He attended the School of Art at the Institute of Chicago, USA (1997), the Royal College of Fine Arts in London (1993) and the AR.CO Center For Fine Arts in Lisbon (1992).

Noé Sendas attended several artistic residencies, such as  Contretype, Brussels (2011), Atelier Real, Lisbon (2011), Casa de Velázquez, Madrid (2008),  Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin (2000), Cite International des Arts, Paris (1999),  Peggy Guggenheim, Venice, Italy (1998).  NS also won several research grants for investigation projects such as  Grant Institute Camoes -  Make Ends Meet, Berlin (2014), Grant dgARTES - German Diaries, Berlin (2010), Grant Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Research project & Residency Reading University (2009). In 2003 NS was the winner of the City Desk Sculpture Prize, Lisbon.

Amongst his important exhibitions we can highlight the solo show “Moscow Circa, RuArts Foundation gallery”, Moscow (2018), “Germinal. O nécleo Cabrita Reis na Coleção de Arte Fundação EDP”, MAAT, Lisbon (2018) and “Beyond the Mirror”, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon (2017).
